Fleurmont – Floral Damask Wallpaper – Navy Blush

Fleurmont is a traditional mirrored damask built entirely from flowers. Speckled lilies, tulips and a large open central bloom sit inside curling acanthus scrollwork, with sprays of small five-petalled flowers and forget-me-nots filling the gaps and fine beaded dotted lines tracing the scrolls. Everything is symmetrical about a vertical axis, which is what makes it read as a damask rather than a floral.

Navy with blush is the coolest and most classical of the five. Pink flowers on a deep blue background is the pairing this kind of damask has used for two centuries, and it is the colourway that looks settled rather than styled.

Fleurmont is a straight match with a 53cm pattern repeat, so the pattern lines up level strip to strip. It is printed on a non-woven substrate: you paste the wall rather than the paper, which makes it quicker to hang and strippable when you remove it.
